I covered the 2009 AFL Multicultural Camp during Grand Final Week. There were about 30, 13-14 year old boys involved.
There were many tasks. In one of them the kids were asked to submit a poster about what 'Multicultural' meant?
The responses were mostly that we are different we are the same but different. We are unique because we are different.
The other task was to do a 2 minute play on what it meant to show leadership. The plays were different but the themes were about protecting someone who was being picked on, harrased or bullied.
This is an example of how Aussie Rules affects the rules of life. Everyone deserves a fair go no matter class, race or religion.

Fair play in football can amount to fair play in life?
You are always protected on the football field. But in life not everyone plays by the rules.
